Sparkling Champagne Sangria

July 3, 2019 by BrookeWeiss

It is the eve of 4th of July which means you have to make this recipe tonight so it’s ready to go for tomorrow! I love me some champagne. It is definitely my drink of choice and what I love most about it is that it can be enjoyed any time of the day. Summer day drinking? It’s nice and refreshing. Brunch? Mimosas are the way to go. Holidays? Spruce it up to match the holiday. Celebrating? Pop that bottle and drink up. There really isn’t an occasion that champagne doesn’t work for. July 4th is no exception. This Sparkling Champagne Sangria is perfect to sip on as you are celebrating Independence Day at the beach, lake, boat, backyard or wherever you plan on celebrating.

If you are on the hunt for some more fun, healthy and refreshing cocktails for the holiday weekend, check these out!

  • Apple Cider Moscow Mule
  • Frozen Mango Pineapple Vodka Cocktail
  • Paleo Raspberry Lemonade (add vodka)
  • Watermelon Lime and Cucumber Cocktail
  • Homemade Moscow Mule
  • Champagne Refresher
  • Paleo Strawberry Lemonade Cocktail

I hope you have a safe, fun and unforgettable 4th of July!

Recipe type: Cocktail
Ingredients
  • 1 750ml bottle white Moscato
  • 1 750ml bottle brut Champagne
  • 32 fl oz raspberry lemonade
  • 2 cups fresh berries (i.e. blueberries, strawberries, raspberries)
  • 1 orange, sliced
Instructions
  1. Add the Moscato, lemonade, berries and orange slices to large pitcher. Cover and place in refrigerator for 4+ hours or over night.
  2. When ready to serve, pour half a glass of the sangria and top the glass off with champagne.
  3. Enjoy!
Notes
You can skip the 4 hour steep. However, sangria is better the longer it sits.
Add the champagne right before you are ready to serve so it doesn't go flat.
