Ginger Snap Collagen Turmeric Protein Balls

May 16, 2018 by BrookeWeiss

I refer to these protein balls as balls of heaven! I truly didn’t know what to expect because I have never used this daily turmeric tonic in a recipe besides a latte. I was over joyed when I tasted the dough and it was pure perfection! I have been snacking on these daily for a little afternoon pick me up and hiding the container in the back of the fridge so the hubby can’t find them. These are too good for husbands. These balls not only taste amazing, they are packed and I mean packed full of micronutrients. If you have a hard time getting in essential vitamins and minerals throughout the day, add these little guys to your eating routine and you will be well on your way of bettering your health!

I could go on and on about these balls, but lets move on. Recently, I have been having to remind myself to keep going after the things I want most out of life. I am a bit of a dreamer and can day dream about my ideal life all day long. The more I day dream sometimes though, the more far fetched they become and I can get discouraged. I am usually a doer, but recently I have felt stuck in moving forward with making my dreams come true. I get so excited and do all of this planning and then the doubts set in and it holds me back from jumping in head first. I took some time to reflect on why this is happening and I realized I am putting to much pressure on myself and over complicating things. It is time for me to take my own advice and keep it simple. For me, that means creating a priority list and having a daily task list. I love to cross things off list so having the list with me daily will keep me moving forward.

My health goals used to overwhelm me because I did the exact same thing. I would day dream about my ideal body and fitness level that I would eventually overwhelm myself and doubt every aspect of my eating and fitness routine. I would get held back, not make any progress and get more and more frustrated. Over time, I was able to reflect on these moments and fix it before becoming too overwhelmed with my own thoughts and self sabotage. Self reflections, making things priorities and consistency is what got me my physical results and now it is time to use those same tactics to get my mental, emotional and life results. If you are struggling with reaching any of your goals or even more forward towards them, it is time to take some time to reflect and make a change. So, what are you going to do today to take that one step to getting closer to your goals?

You could start with making these protein balls! I used Further Food’s Collagen Peptides (unflavored) and Daily Turmeric Tonic and you can save 5 percent on your order using code kissbybrooke. I will most certainly be making these again this week!
