12 Minute Ladder AMRAP

January 18, 2019 by BrookeWeiss

Happy Friday fitness friends! What.a.week. I have had quite the week and I am still searching for the light at the end of the tunnel. It has been one of those weeks that everything seems to be falling apart and when you don’t think things can get any worse, they do. But, life happens. I must adapt, fix what I can, let go what I can’t and keep trucking forward.

I have planned to get this workout in today, but baby A had different plans. This is would be a great little metcon on it’s own or as a conditioning finisher to your workout. I have been working on a lot of time under tension hypertrophy workouts lately to build muscle and finishing my workouts with a nice little burner. With hypertrophy workouts you want to really feel your muscle burn through slow and controlled movements. I have only been doing two exercises as part of my new phase, but really focusing on creating tension on my muscles to feel the burn. I will then finish my workout with some sort of metcon using the same muscle group. If your goal is to build muscle mass, hypertrophy time under tension workouts are the way to go!

12 Minute Ladder AMRAP

Reps: 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, etc
