30 Minute Bodyweight EMOM

December 28, 2018 by BrookeWeiss

Holy shitski it is already Friday and 2018 is coming to a close! This time of year is always so busy with Christmas and kicking off the new year that it can be easy to lose sight or slack a bit on the goals we set for ourselves earlier in the year. When we are busy excuses tend to be used more and before we know it we have completely lost sight of our goal. Then, the new year comes and we feel we need to get back on the wagon and we hit it so hard to make up for lost time. However, we burn ourselves out because we diet to hard and hit the gym way to much. In a month or so the excuses creep back in and our goal slowly slips away again. Does this maybe sound like a cycle you are in?

This cycle can be detrimental to your health and you may never find the balance and healthy lifestyle you are searching after. In order to live a healthy lifestyle for the rest of your life you must first slow down, start where you are at, put in the work and be consistent. Going from 0 to 60 is only setting yourself up for failure. If right now you aren’t working out at all, hitting the gym 5 days a week isn’t feasible or a smart thing to do. If you are currently eating boxed or processed foods at almost every meal, meal prepping a week’s worth of whole food meals is only setting yourself up for failure. Start small and start slow. Losing weight, changing your health or body compensation isn’t a quick fix that can be done in 30 days. The proper habits practiced over and over and over again will lead to weight loss, change in health and body composition that is actually sustainable.

So, as you wrap up 2018 and think ahead to what you want for yourself in 2019 don’t let excuses get in the way and don’t let the shiny quick fixes catch your attention. Instead, commit to changing your life forever with a protocol that is sustainable and lasting. I am here to help you change your health for goof just one step at time with my total coaching solution, daily lessons, weekly habits, check-ins, support and more. If you are ready and able to make a change for good and want to learn more how to do this, email me at brooke@kissbybrooke.com

At home workouts have been the only to get workouts in this week. Even if you can’t make it to the gym you can still get in a killer workout with minimal or no equipment at all. I am sore from a full body no weight workout I did just the other day! This workout is only 30 minutes, but will blast your entire body leaving you dripped in sweat.
