21-15-9 Dumbbell Workout

Happy Friday from Madison, WI! The hubby and I recently got the opportunity to come to the Reebok Crossfit Games and we happily accepted! It’s not very often we are offered something like this so we are making it into a mini baby moon! You know, because it is so romantic staying in a sketch hotel because it was the only room available under $375 per night! We got here yesterday which ended up being a rest day for the athletes, so we walked the grounds, checked out the vendors and food vendors of course. We then went and got our own workout in. When I am traveling or off my normal routine and I feel much better when I can get in some sort of movement. However, if I can’t fit in a workout I don’t sweat about it and keep enjoying my travels! Some people love working out while traveling and others just want to soak up their vacation. Both are 100 percent acceptable and your choice! If you are a person who likes to get in a workout while traveling and have access to a hotel or resort gym, this workout would be a great one that won’t take up too much of your time. I also have tons of body weight workouts here that can be done at home, in a hotel room, in a park, etc. No matter where you are at, there is always opportunity to get in a sweat sesh if you want too!

21-15-9 Dumbbell Workout

Warmup: 15 minutes on the stairclimber

21-15-9 reps of:

– dumbbell thrusters

– push-ups

3 minute rest after all 3 rounds

21-15-9 reps of:

– Dumbbell front squats

– dumbbell bicep curls

3 minute rest after all 3 rounds

21-15-9

– dumbbell goblet squats

– dumbbell swings
