Hello from sunny Punta Cana! The weekly workout is a day late this week because I wanted to post a workout we did on the beach and yesterday I attended a beach bootcamp class and it wasn’t worth sharing. We are on day three of our trip and I can’t get enough of this beautiful weather, views and ocean! Yesterday was our full day here and after a morning of breakfast and working out, we spent the majority of the day lounging at the beach. Today, we are going to checkout a new restaurant for breakfast, get in our own beach workout then see what’s happening at the pool.
Here is what we did on the beach this morning. I haven’t done sprints since before I was pregnant. I would work sprints into my workouts at least three times a week. When I got pregnant my energy was too low and sprints sounded awful. Today, these sprints felt so good and I can’t wait for the snow back home to melt to do more sprint workouts outside. This workout can be done just about anywhere if you have booty bands (or do it without). Take it at your own pace and scale or add difficulty depending on your fitness level.
