PB&J Bacon Burger

Ingredients
  • 2 lbs ground grass-fed beef
  • 8 slices bacon
  • 4 tbsp nut butter
  • 4 tbsp Cranberry Jam*
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Gluten free buns (optional)
Instructions
  1. Make the cranberry jam and let cool (recipe below).
  2. Make 8 large hamburger patties out of the 2 lbs of beef.
  3. Spread a tablespoon or so of nut butter on 4 of the hamburger patties and spread a tablespoon of the jam on the other 4 patties.
  4. Compile the PB&J patties by placing a jam patty on top of a nut butter patty. Pinch together both patties so it makes one large hamburger. Repeat process until you have 4 large hamburger patties. Season with salt and a little pepper.
  5. Grill like a normal hamburger.
  6. While hamburgers are grilling, cook the bacon.
  7. Place two pieces of bacon on each patty and dive in.
