Spinach and Strawberry Hamburgers

August 26, 2017 by BrookeWeiss

You guys, it’s been a year since my husband and I bought our first home. How has it already been a year! I don’t even have the house completely decorated yet. When I was thinking about this the other day I was like whoa, where did the year go. A year used to seem so long when I was young and now a year flies by with hardly even noticing it. Life is so short, you guys. There are days I catch myself wishing the day away or hoping for a specific date to be here sooner. I say no more of that! We have to embrace each and every day because our life here on earth, with our loved ones, is so unbelievable short. We are never guaranteed another day, week, month or year and we should never take that time for granted.

Instead of wishing the days away, it is time to embrace each and every day. Embrace the life you are living right now instead of wasting time thinking about the life you wish you had. Life is to damn short to be miserable, unhappy and working for the weekend. If you aren’t proud of the life you are living right now, change it! No one else can change your circumstances but yourself. A year can fly by in a blink of an eye and so much can change in that time. Are you just going to sit there and watch your life go by or are you going to get up and embrace each and every day? The choice is yours.

I choose to embrace the life I am living right now. I choose to surround myself with uplifting positive individuals to create a family and friendships that give me lifelong memories. I choose to hustle and design a life worth living so everyday is a weekend. I choose to be happy, inspire and show others that they can have the life they’ve always wanted. I choose to be me and embrace the day. What do you choose?

I know what you are thinking. Is this girl nuts? Spinach and strawberries in a hamburger? I’m not nuts, I assure you that. I needed a change in our normal burgers and I had strawberries and spinach on hand so why not throw them into the mix? If you have a spouse or kids who refuses to eat their veggies, make them these and they won’t even know they are getting in their veggies and fruits! Trust me on this one.
